A Look Back As We Move Forward
The week of March 8 marks the one-year anniversary of the coronavirus pandemic’s impact on Lambeth House. To honor those we have lost and to pay tribute to our amazing heroes and vigilant residents, we have planned several events for our residents to commemorate this time.
As we reflect on the resilience of our community over the last twelve months, we look forward to narrowing the social distance that was put upon us and to reclaiming a sense of unity and togetherness.
These events are exclusively for Lambeth House residents, designed to provide support and to offer personal and group connection opportunities. We are #LambethStrong.

At Lambeth House, 100% of Residents and Staff Received the COVID-19 Vaccine.
We are proud to announce that all Lambeth House residents and employees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This amazing statistic has allowed more freedoms internally for our residents. We are, however, still proceeding with great caution.
The CDC cautions that people who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 should keep taking precautions while visiting with unvaccinated individuals, until we know more, like wearing a mask, maintaining physical distance, avoiding crowds, and washing your hands.
We will continue to follow all CDC protocols while traversing the hallways within our community and anytime we are outside of the building. All visitors must continue to check in at the front desk, sanitize, and remain masked while inside our shared community spaces. Unvaccinated guests are required to mask for the entirety of their visit.
While we are 100% vaccinated, preventive measures will remain in place for the continued safety of our residents and staff. This includes enhanced infection control procedures, frequent sanitization of common areas, hand sanitizing, consistent and proper use of face masks and other PPE, along with continued training for team members.
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we continue in our efforts to minimize exposure of COVID-19 at Lambeth House. We are all in this together.

99% of Lambeth House Staff and Residents Receive the COVID-19 Vaccine.
On Thursday, December 31, 2020, Lambeth House residents and staff made an important decision to take the COVID-19 vaccination. Residents and staff continued their commitment to our NOT HERE. NOT US. pledge by joining together to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, making the decision that life must change for the better and that healing begins now. We are overwhelmingly pleased to announce that as of January 1, 99% of residents and staff have received their first dose of the vaccine.
The actions that we take together to continually practice our “Not Here. Not Us.” pledge exemplifies our commitment to one another and to mitigating the spread of COVID-19.
January 14, 2021 - Update
Due to an increased positivity rate within the greater community and the safety of our residents, Lambeth House has restricted visitation from outside guests to Independent Living. We will continue to follow all CDC guidelines for protection against COVID-19 as it takes time for your body to build protection after a vaccination.
Assisted Living and Saint Anna’s Visitation
Based on guidance from the CDC and Louisiana Department of Health, we will continue to allow compassionate care visits, outdoor visits, and virtual visits under our current protocols.
November 30, 2020 - Update
With the holidays fast approaching and the number of COVID-19 cases on the rise, we are taking a pledge to protect ourselves. We believe that each of us has a personal responsibility in the fight against the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, to care for one another, we are asking our team members, residents, and family members to join our fight against COVID-19 by signing our NOT HERE, NOT US. pledge and commit to stopping the spread of COVID-19 within our community.
The health and safety of our residents and staff remains our highest priority. We have made incredible progress over the past few months and will continue to carefully monitor the operations and health status within our community, taking proactive steps to reduce the risk of COVID-19.
We are working diligently to ensure that our Independent Living reopening initiatives are carefully planned and follow recommended health and safety protocols. All residents, staff, and visitors must adhere to strict safety precautions while at Lambeth House including:
- Mask and hand sanitizing are required upon entrance. Mask must be worn at all times while inside our shared community spaces.
- Report symptoms of cough, shortness of breath or fever upon screening at the front desk.
- Adhere to social distancing of 6 feet or greater.
As we move forward, we will continue following the guidance of federal, state, and local authorities regarding COVID-19 protocols. We sincerely thank everyone for their continued support and understanding as we walk this journey together.
